The two beautiful and breathtaking Parks are administered as one unit of the National Park system, but both Parks offer a uniqueness of their own. The Parks proudly boast their granite mountains, grandeur forests of Sequoias, waterfalls and deep canyons.
Sequoia National Park is open all year round offering warm summers for sightseeing and hiking, and cross-country and downhill skiing during the winter months. Kings Canyon is open during the summer months only, showing off the beautiful Kings River and breathtaking scenery.
